A keen edge, anywhere

A blunt blade is slower, harder work and more dangerous than a sharp one. The Kombat UK Deluxe Precision Knife Sharpener brings a dull edge back to life in seconds using two dedicated stages, so your bushcraft, camping or utility knife is always ready to cut cleanly.

Carbide then ceramic

Start with the crossed carbide blades, which quickly bite in and reset a worn or damaged edge. Then finish through the crossed ceramic rods, which hone and polish the bevel to a razor-sharp finish. Both slots hold a pre-set sharpening angle for you, so you get consistent, repeatable results without any freehand skill.

Safe and steady to use

Non-slip rubber feet grip the surface underneath, and a dimpled finger holding area gives you a secure hold well clear of the blade path. That means controlled, confident strokes whether you are at the kitchen worktop or balanced on a log at camp.

Built to travel

At just 130mm the olive green body drops easily into a pocket or pack, and the lanyard hole plus detachable metal loop let you clip it to a belt, bag or lanyard. Add it to your kit alongside the rest of our tactical and outdoor gear so a fresh edge is never far away.

Frequently asked questions

How do I use the two stages?

Draw the blade through the carbide slot a few times to set the edge, then finish with a few light pulls through the ceramic slot to polish it razor sharp.

Do I need to know sharpening angles?

No. The slots hold a pre-set angle for you, so you simply pull the blade through evenly. This makes it ideal if you have never sharpened freehand.

What knives will it sharpen?

It suits most straight-edged outdoor, kitchen and pocket knives. It is not designed for serrated blades or scissors.

Is it small enough to carry?

Yes. At 130mm it slips into a pack, pouch or pocket, and the lanyard hole and metal loop let you clip it to your kit.

Why does it need rubber feet?

The non-slip feet hold the tool still on a table or rock so you can sharpen safely with one hand on the knife.
