Serious strength in a compact connector

The Kong Heavy Duty Locking Carabiner is a high-tensile aluminium screw-gate rated to a hefty 36kN on the major axis, with 11kN minor axis and 13kN open-gate figures. It is made and tested piece by piece in Italy and carries EN 362/B, EN 12275/B and UIAA certification.

Smart D-shape design

The asymmetric D-body naturally guides the load onto the stronger spine and helps stop the hook rotating under tension. At 120 x 64mm with a generous 15mm gate opening, it clips quickly yet handles big loads with confidence.

Screw-gate security

A screw sleeve locks the gate closed so it cannot open accidentally, making it a dependable choice for slings, harness points, load-bearing gear and general heavy-duty rigging. It weighs just 88g.

Gear that lasts

Kong builds this connector for a long service life when properly cared for. Pair it with more tactical kit from Platoon Stores.
