Dig in anywhere

The Milcom Entrenching Tool is a compact folding shovel built for serious field work, from digging fire pits and drainage to clearing ground and filling sandbags. Its three-section folding design collapses down small enough to stow in a daysack or webbing pouch.

Tough steel construction

Made from steel throughout, this e-tool is built to bite into hard, root-bound and stony ground where lightweight plastic shovels give up. It stands up to repeated heavy use in the field.

Twist-lock and angled head

A twist locking collar secures the head firmly in the open position for digging, or at a 90-degree angle so you can use it as a hoe or mattock to chop and rake. When you are done, unlock, fold and pack it away in seconds.

Field and camp essential

Ideal for camping, bushcraft, milsim, fishing and vehicle recovery kits. Browse more tactical and survival gear to round out your setup.

Frequently asked questions

How compact does it fold down?

The three-section folding design collapses the shovel down small enough to stow in a daysack, bergen or webbing pouch.

What is the 90-degree setting for?

Locking the head at 90 degrees turns the tool into a hoe or mattock so you can chop roots, rake and break up tough ground.

Is it strong enough for hard ground?

Yes. The steel construction bites into hard, root-bound and stony ground where lightweight plastic shovels tend to fail.

How does the head lock in place?

A twist locking collar secures the head firmly in the open or angled position, then releases so you can fold it away in seconds.

What can I use it for?

It suits camping, bushcraft, milsim, fishing and vehicle recovery kits, handling everything from fire pits to drainage and filling sandbags.
