Comms without the fumble

Digging a handheld out of a pouch mid-game is a good way to miss a call or lose track of your team. This Baofeng PTT speaker microphone brings the speaker and push-to-talk up to your shoulder, so you can listen and transmit while your radio stays clipped safely to your rig.

Built for Baofeng UV radios

The moulded two-pin plug connects to the Baofeng UV series, including the ever-popular UV-5R, giving a secure fit that will not work loose as you move.

Field-friendly controls

A large, raised push-to-talk button is easy to locate and press even with gloves on, and a rotating 360-degree belt clip lets you position the mic exactly where you want it on webbing, a chest rig or a belt.

Simple, reliable team comms

Clear team communication changes how a skirmish plays out, and a shoulder mic makes staying in contact effortless. Pair it with the rest of your loadout from our tactical gear range for a setup that keeps you switched on all day.

Frequently asked questions

Which radios does this microphone fit?

It uses a moulded two-pin plug that fits the Baofeng UV series, including popular models such as the UV-5R. Check your radio takes the two-pin Kenwood-style connector before ordering.

How does it attach to my kit?

A 360-degree belt clip lets you mount it on your webbing, plate carrier strap or belt and rotate it to the best angle for talking.

Can I use it with gloves on?

Yes. The push-to-talk button is large and raised, so it is easy to find and press with gloved hands during a game.

Why use a speaker mic at all?

It keeps your radio holstered and protected while bringing the speaker and mic up to your shoulder, so you can hear and transmit without fishing the handset out.

Is there an age restriction on this?

No. It is a radio accessory, so no UKARA and no minimum age applies. Note that UK licensing rules still govern how and where you transmit on the radio itself.
