Overview

The Rocket (SHS) 15 Tooth Piston with Metal Teeth is a full-rack upgrade piston for airsoft AEG gearboxes. It pairs a lightweight fibre-reinforced polymer body with a complete set of 15 hardened steel teeth, aimed at builds that need strength under load.

Full metal rack strength

Because every tooth is steel, load is spread across the whole rack rather than concentrated on a few teeth. That makes it a sound choice for higher-FPS and high-torque setups, and it is rated to cope with the stress of 500+ FPS springs.

Gearbox-friendly design

The first tooth is slightly lowered to reduce the chance of the sector gear pre-engaging, helping protect both the piston and the gears. It is well suited to short-stroked, high rate-of-fire builds where reliability matters.

Compatibility and fitting

The piston fits almost any common gearbox, including Version 2, 3, 6 and 7. Piston swaps are internal work best done with correct shimming and angle-of-engagement correction, so if in doubt our Kent airsoft repair workshop can build it for you. See more upgrade parts in airsoft accessories.
