Designed for Grayl’s Ultralight and UltraPress purifier bottles, it restores full purification power once your original cartridge reaches the end of its life, so you can carry on drinking safely wherever you roam.

Comprehensive protection

Using ion exchange and ultra-powdered activated carbon, the cartridge removes an impressive spread of contaminants: 99.99% of viruses, 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.99% of protozoan cysts, including Rotavirus, Hepatitis A, Norovirus, Giardia, Cryptosporidium and E. coli. It also traps sediment and microplastics and reduces many chemicals, pesticides and heavy metals, plus it improves taste.

Fast and long-lasting

Press safe water in around 15 seconds per 473ml, a flow rate of up to roughly 2 litres per minute, with a service life of about 300 presses or 150 litres. When press time noticeably increases it is simply time to swap in a fresh cartridge.

Ready when you need it

An unopened cartridge stores for up to 10 years, making it ideal for expedition, travel and emergency preparedness kits. Once in use it lasts at least three further years, so you are always covered on the trail.

This is the Ultralight replacement purifier cartridge and is compatible with Grayl's Ultralight and UltraPress purifier bottles. If you own a GeoPress bottle, note it uses a different, larger cartridge, so check your bottle model before ordering.

What does it actually remove from water?
