Platoon Stores has been part of Kent’s airsoft community since 2006. What started as a small operation has grown into a full-service airsoft, tactical and shooting sports retailer, with a physical showroom in Rochester, an online shop and a mobile presence at airsoft sites across the county.
We’re coming up on 20 years in the business and the approach hasn’t changed: stock reliable kit, give honest advice and look after our customers long after the sale. Whether you’re choosing your first Automatic Electric Gun (AEG) or you’re after a precision upgrade for your sniper platform, we’re here to help.

Our team aren’t just retail staff, they’re airsoft players and technicians who spend their weekends on the same Kent sites as you. When we recommend a gun or a bit of kit, it comes from actual field experience, not a spec sheet.
In-house repairs and upgrades
Most airsoft shops sell guns. We also fix them. Our on-site workshop handles everything from basic servicing through to full rebuilds, performance upgrades and custom work. If your AEG’s locked up or your GBB is leaking, bring it in.

Our story
Platoon Stores was founded in 2006 by people who genuinely love this hobby. We started supplying the UK airsoft community in 2007 and we’ve been at it ever since, through multiple site moves, market shifts and the steady growth of airsoft from a niche pastime into one of the UK’s fastest-growing outdoor activities.
For years, our shop was on Rochester High Street in the heart of the city. In October 2022, we moved to our current home at A10 Spectrum Business Centre on the Medway City Estate. The new space gives us a proper showroom, a dedicated workshop and room to grow.
In 2026, we’re celebrating our 20th anniversary. Two decades of helping beginners find their first gun, keeping regulars’ loadouts running and supporting the Kent airsoft community.
