A secure, scope-safe mount

The Hawke Match Mount 1in 2-piece high rings give you a solid, repeatable platform for a 1 inch tube riflescope. Precision engineered from high-grade aluminium and anodised matte black, they are designed to hold zero under recoil while keeping your optic protected.

Double hex clamping

Each ring uses double hex screws to clamp the scope firmly in place, spreading the load evenly for a secure hold. A cross-bar locates the mount positively in a Weaver rail slot so it resists shifting under repeated firing.

Protects your optic

The rings are lined with internal cushion tape and finished with rounded edges, so they grip the tube without marking or denting it. Hawke specifies gentle torque figures (16 in-lb ring screws, 30 in-lb windage screws) to keep everything safe when you fit them.

Get the height right

This is the high-height version, giving extra clearance for larger objective lenses. Explore more optics and shooting kit in our outdoor shooting range.

Frequently asked questions

Will these fit my scope?

They are made for scopes with a 1 inch (25.4mm) main tube. Check your scope's tube diameter first: 30mm tube scopes need 30mm rings, not these 1 inch rings.

Do they fit Weaver or Picatinny rails?

They are designed for Weaver rails and use a cross-bar to locate in the rail slot. They will also fit most Picatinny rails, as Picatinny accepts Weaver-pattern mounts, though the reverse is not always true.

What does high mount mean and do I need it?

High rings raise the scope further above the rail, giving clearance for large objective lenses or a bolt handle. Choose high if your scope's objective bell would otherwise sit too close to the rail.

How tight should I do the screws up?

Hawke quotes 16 in-lb for the ring screws and 30 in-lb for the windage screws. Use a torque wrench and do not over-tighten, as that can dent the tube or strip the threads.

Will they mark my scope?

No. The rings are lined with internal cushion tape and have rounded edges, both designed to prevent marking or damaging the scope tube when clamped.
