The 5.11 Flex-Tac TDU Ripstop trouser takes the trusted TDU duty pant and rebuilds it in 5.11’s Flex-Tac mechanical stretch ripstop. That 80% polyester, 20% cotton weave flexes as you move, so kneeling behind cover, climbing into a vehicle or sitting through a long shift all feel easier, while the tough ripstop construction keeps its shape and shrugs off snags.
Stays clean, stays dry
A Teflon and DWR finish is bonded into the fabric to repel stains, soil, spills and light rain. Mud, oil and coffee bead up and wipe away, and the trousers wash and dry quickly, so they always look presentable on parade or on patrol.
Duty-ready storage and protection
Large pleated cargo pockets swallow magazines, gloves and gear, with internal compartments compatible with the 5.11 TacTec System. Reinforced hand pockets hold a knife clip, there is a hidden coin pocket on the right, and rear flap pockets close with hook-and-loop. The seat and knees are double-reinforced, and internal kneepad pockets accept 5.11 internal kneepads for added protection.
A fit you can adjust
The self-adjusting tunnel waistband gives a comfortable custom fit through the day, reinforced belt loops take a sturdy rigger or trouser belt, and removable blousing straps at the hem let you blouse cleanly over boots. Triple stitching and bartacking at the stress points mean these are made to last.
