Field admin that does not run out of paper

The A6 commanders note slate is a simple, rugged piece of kit that earns its place in any command or admin pouch. It is a plastic writing slate you write on, wipe clean, and use again, ideal for jotting orders, plans and briefing points where a paper notebook would tear, soak or blow away.

Built for briefings

Section commanders, marshals and organisers use slates like this to keep orders and timings in front of them. The A6 format is compact enough to stow easily yet large enough to hold a clear set of notes.

Write, wipe, repeat

Mark it up with a chinagraph pencil or a Lumocolor-style pen, then wipe the surface clean when the task is done. There is nothing to run out of and nothing to replace, which makes it both practical and economical over a season of games or exercises.

Secured and to hand

A lanyard hole in one corner lets you attach a cord so the slate stays with you and cannot be dropped or lost. Other sizes are available for different roles. Browse more field kit in our tactical range.

Frequently asked questions

What do I write on it with?

Use a chinagraph (grease) pencil or a Lumocolor-style marker pen. Both write clearly on the plastic surface and wipe away when you need a clean slate.

Is it reusable?

Yes. Wipe the surface clean and the slate is ready for the next set of orders or notes, making it far more practical than paper in the field.

How do I carry it?

There is a lanyard hole in one corner, so you can run a cord through and keep it secured to your kit or around your neck.

Will the writing survive rain?

The plastic slate itself is weatherproof. Chinagraph pencil in particular stays put in wet conditions, unlike paper notes.

Are other sizes available?

Yes, this slate comes in other sizes to suit different admin and command roles. Get in touch if you need a larger or smaller format.
