The BCB Foil Survival Blanket is a pocket-sized emergency blanket developed for military use. Made from metallised polyester film, it reflects up to around 90% of radiant body heat to help treat or stave off hypothermia in the field.

Olive one side, silver the other

One face is subdued olive green for concealment while the reverse is highly reflective silver foil. That reflective side also doubles as a signalling aid for search and rescue when you need to be seen.

Weatherproof shelter

The blanket is waterproof and windproof, giving quick emergency shelter from wind and rain. It measures roughly 202 by 132cm yet folds down to pocket size and weighs only about 50 to 60g, so it earns its place in any kit.
