The everyday .22 practice round

Bisley Practice pellets give ambitious hobby shooters accuracy and consistency without the premium price. The flat head wadcutter makes a clean hole in the target so you can see exactly where each shot lands, which is precisely what you want when sighting in or scoring a card.

Consistency you can group with

Every pellet is a uniform 13.73 grains with a 5.50mm head and a smooth finish. The tight skirt seats firmly in the barrel to let pressure build, while the low friction surface keeps the pellet on a straighter, more repeatable trajectory. The result is superb accuracy for the money.

Rifle and pistol friendly

These suit most .22 (5.5mm) air rifles and pistols, and their short profile makes them an excellent choice for multi-shot CO2 air pistols. They are ideal for 10 yard target shooting and casual plinking alike.

250 to a tin

A tin of 250 keeps cost per shot low for regular practice. Pair them with targets and pellet catchers from our outdoor shooting range. You must be 18 or over to buy airgun ammunition, and valid ID is required before dispatch.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a practice and a hunting pellet?

Practice wadcutters have a flat head that cuts clean holes for easy scoring on paper, ideal for target work. Hunting pellets are usually domed or hollow point for range and terminal effect on quarry.

Will these work in my .22 CO2 pistol?

Yes. Their short flat head design feeds well through multi-shot CO2 air pistols as well as .22 air rifles, and they suit most .22 (5.5mm) airguns.

Do I need to be 18 to buy these?

Yes. Airgun ammunition is age restricted to 18 and over. We require proof of ID in store and online, and pellets are not shipped until your ID is confirmed.

How many pellets come in the tin?

There are 250 pellets in this .22 tin, a practical quantity for regular range and garden practice sessions.

What weight are these pellets?

Each pellet weighs 13.73 grains, a medium weight for .22 that balances a flat trajectory with steady, consistent groups at target ranges.
