Two brushes, one proper finish

This Kombat UK set gives you a pair of boot brushes so you can do the job the right way: one brush to apply and work polish into the leather, and a second, cleaner brush kept purely for buffing up the shine. Keeping the on and off jobs separate is the trick behind a deep, even parade finish.

Built for the boot-care routine

Sturdy bristles push wax and cream polish into the grain and seams, then lift dirt and old product before you buff. Whether you are a cadet facing an inspection or just want your leather boots looking sharp, this is the everyday tool that does it.

Keep your colours separate

A quick word of advice: do not share a brush between black and brown polish. Colours transfer, and using a black-loaded brush on brown boots can permanently discolour them. If you own both, keep a dedicated set for each.

Part of a complete kit

Pair these brushes with a tin of parade gloss and a soft polishing cloth for a full shine routine. See the rest of our boot care and clothing and kit range for everything else you need to stay smart in the field.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need two brushes?

One brush is used to apply and work polish into the leather, and the second is kept clean for buffing the boot to a shine. Keeping them separate gives a much better finish.

Can I use one brush for black and brown polish?

It is best not to. Mixing polish colours on the same brush can discolour lighter boots, so keep a dedicated set per colour.

Are these suitable for cadet inspections?

Yes. They are a standard part of a cadet boot-care routine and help you keep boots smart and inspection-ready.

Do they work on suede or nubuck?

No. These are for smooth leather boots that take wax or cream polish. Suede and nubuck need a dedicated crepe or rubber suede brush.

What else do I need for a full shine?

A tin of parade gloss or wax polish and a soft polishing cloth. Applied with these brushes, that is everything needed for a parade-ready finish.
