Unlock Standard Accessories on a 16mm Barrel

Some airsoft guns, most famously the MK23 SOCOM, ship with an awkward 16mm clockwise outer barrel thread. The vast majority of suppressors, tracer units and flash hiders use the standard 14mm CCW thread instead. The CTM 16mm to 14mm CCW steel thread adapter bridges that gap, letting you run the muzzle devices you actually want.

Built From Solid Steel

Where many adapters are cast from soft alloy and strip or snap under load, this one is fully CNC machined from steel. It is then QPQ hardened for excellent corrosion resistance and a clean black finish, so it stays reliable game after game and season after season.

Stays Put Under Fire

Two O-rings add resistance to keep the adapter from vibrating loose during firing, and the flanged body lets you nip it up securely with a hex key or screwdriver without chewing up your barrel surface. Just avoid over-tightening onto softer barrel threads.

Complete Your Muzzle Setup

Once fitted, you have full access to standard 14mm CCW kit. Browse our airsoft accessories for the suppressors, tracers and flash hiders to finish the job.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need this adapter?

A few airsoft guns, such as the MK23 SOCOM, use an uncommon 16mm clockwise thread. Most suppressors, tracers and flash hiders use 14mm CCW. This adapter converts 16mm CW to 14mm CCW so you can fit standard accessories.

What is QPQ and why does it matter?

QPQ (quench-polish-quench) is a hardening and finishing process that greatly improves corrosion resistance and durability. It gives the adapter a tough, clean black finish that stands up to field use.

Will it come loose during play?

It is fitted with twin O-rings that add resistance and help stop the adapter vibrating loose. The flanged body also lets you tighten it firmly onto the barrel.

Why steel rather than alloy?

Steel is far stronger than the aluminium alloy used in cheaper adapters, so it resists stripping and snapping. Take care not to over-tighten it onto softer barrel threads.

Is this age restricted?

No. A thread adapter is an accessory, not a working airsoft gun, so there is no age or UKARA requirement to buy it.
