Wind Is The Enemy, Not Cold
The reason a normal stove takes forever outdoors is not temperature, it is wind stripping the heat away before it reaches the pot. A system stove like the Cyclone encloses the flame and uses a flux heat transmitter, a finned ring on the base of the pot, to pull heat into the water rather than letting it wash past. That is why it boils in a fraction of the time in conditions where an open burner struggles.
The Details That Get Used
Built in ignition means no hunting for a lighter with cold hands. The soft TPE lid has a built in strainer and drink through vents, so it doubles as a mug and drains a boil in the bag or a portion of pasta. The pot is 1100ml with butterfly silicone handles that fold flat, and there is a fold out tripod stabiliser so it does not tip on rough ground.
It Packs Into Itself
A 100g gas cartridge stores inside the pot when it is not in use, which is how a system like this justifies its bulk. Cartridge not included. Two Kombat neoprene wraps come with it, in BTP and black, plus a polyester carry bag.
Use Your Own Pots Too
A pot adapter is included, so the burner works with other pots and with mess tins. That matters if you already cook in something specific and do not want to be locked into one vessel. More in our outdoor and survival range.
