A faithful Gen 5 service pistol replica

The E&C G17 Gen 5 is a well-priced gas blowback pistol modelled on the fifth generation G17 service pistol, here in a two tone training weapon blue (TWB) finish. A metal top slide over a polymer body gives it a solid feel, and the high kick blowback makes it a genuinely fun sidearm to shoot.

Site-friendly power

Running on green gas, it fires 6mm BBs at roughly 270 to 320 FPS on 0.20g, keeping it legal at most UK skirmish sites for both CQB and field play. An adjustable hop-up lets you dial in your point of aim, and it has been tested reliable on Nuprol 2.0 and 3.0 gas.

Two tone exempt

No. TWB stands for training weapon blue, a two tone finish that is VCRA exempt. You can buy it without a UKARA registration or defence, as the blue clearly marks it as an airsoft gun.

What gas does it run on?

The pistol uses green gas, held in the drop-in EU-series magazine. It has been tested happily on gases such as Nuprol 2.0 and 3.0, with warmer temperatures giving a snappier slide.
