Compact Carbontech Firepower

The Evolution Recon S 10in Silent Ops Carbontech is a compact M4-pattern AEG built around Evolution’s signature Carbontech body, marrying a carbon-fibre upper receiver to a rugged polymer lower for a rifle that stays light at roughly 2.3kg without feeling fragile. The 10in Silent Ops handguard and six-position collapsible stock keep it nimble in tight buildings yet capable out to skirmish range.

Performance And Internals

A reinforced Version 2 gearbox with steel gears and an 8mm-bushing build drives around 320 FPS at close to 1 Joule on 0.20g BBs. The quick-change spring system means you can retune power to any site limit in minutes. A 275mm 6.01mm tightbore barrel and rotary adjustable hop-up keep groups tight and consistent.

Ready To Skirmish

It ships with a 320rd hi-cap magazine, 20mm Picatinny rails and M-LOK slots for optics, grips and lights, plus a 14mm CCW thread for tracers or a mock suppressor. Browse the wider airsoft range to kit it out.

What FPS does the Recon S 10in fire out of the box?

It is calibrated to around 320 FPS on 0.20g BBs, roughly 1 Joule. The quick-change spring system lets you swap the spring to match a site or CQB limit without stripping the gearbox.

Do I need UKARA to buy this rifle?

Yes. This is a black realistic imitation firearm, so under the VCR Act you must provide a valid defence such as UKARA site membership before we can sell and dispatch it.

What battery does it use and is one included?

It runs on a 7.4V LiPo via a Mini Tamiya connector, with PDW and single-baton stick fitments suiting the compact stock. A battery and charger are not included as standard.

Can I fit a tracer unit or suppressor?

Yes. The outer barrel carries a 14mm counter-clockwise (CCW) thread, so most tracer units, flash hiders and mock suppressors bolt straight on.

Is the hop-up adjustable?

Yes, it uses a rotary adjustable hop-up unit so you can fine-tune backspin and range for heavier BBs like 0.25g or 0.28g.
