Keep your kit bone dry

The Exped Fold Drybag BS XL is a 22 litre roll top dry bag that shields your gear from rain, spray and splashes. It is made from durable PU coated taffeta nylon with a 10,000 mm water column rating and fully welded seams, so wet weather, canoe trips and muddy fields are no threat to the contents inside.

Simple, secure closure

Sealing the bag is quick. Push out the air, roll the neck down at least three times and clip the buckles closed. The buckle also forms a second sturdy quick release handle, giving you an easy way to grab, hang or lash the bag to a pack.

Bright Sight interior

The BS in the name stands for Bright Sight. A bright coloured interior coating reflects light inside the bag so you can spot exactly what you need without tipping everything out, a real advantage in low light or at the bottom of a rucksack.

Packs down neatly

Measuring 51 x 26 x 19 cm with a rectangular base, the XL packs efficiently into rucksacks, boot spaces and kit boxes. It is a versatile choice for camping, fishing, paddling and airsoft. Note this is a splash and rain proof bag rather than a fully submersible one. See more field kit in our tactical gear range.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Exped Fold Drybag fully submersible?

No. The Fold Drybag is built to keep contents dry from rain, spray and accidental splashes, not for deep submersion. Roll the neck at least three times and clip the buckle for a reliable seal in wet weather and boat or paddle use.

How do I close it properly?

Push out excess air, then roll the neck down tightly at least three times and connect the buckles. A tighter roll gives a better seal and a more compact, secure package inside your pack.

What does BS mean in the name?

BS stands for Bright Sight. The bag has a bright coloured, high visibility interior that makes it far easier to see and find your gear inside, which is handy in low light or a crowded rucksack.

What is it good for?

The 22 litre XL size suits spare clothing, a sleeping bag, food or electronics for camping, kayaking, fishing, airsoft and general outdoor use. It is also a tidy way to compartmentalise the inside of a larger rucksack.

What is the 10,000 mm rating?

That is the hydrostatic head, a measure of how much water pressure the fabric resists before it lets water through. At 10,000 mm the PU coated taffeta nylon comfortably shrugs off heavy rain and spray.
