Wash technical kit the right way

Waterproof jackets, soft shells and fleeces need more care than a pair of jeans. Grangers Performance Wash Concentrate is a powerful yet gentle cleaner built to refresh outdoor and technical garments without damaging their delicate membranes, so your kit keeps performing wash after wash.

Cleans without killing performance

Everyday detergents leave residues that make fabric wet out and choke breathability. This wash removes dirt, sweat and odours while stripping that harmful residue, and it actively helps maintain the water-repellent finish on the outer fabric. It is safe on membranes like Gore-Tex and eVent and works the same in hard or soft water.

Concentrated and responsible

Just half a capful (around 25ml) is enough per wash, giving up to 12 washes from a 300ml bottle. It is PFC-free, Bluesign approved and bottled in recycled plastic, so it is kinder to the environment as well as your gear.

Why not use ordinary detergent on technical kit?

Normal detergents leave residues that attract water and clog membranes, ruining breathability and water repellency. Performance Wash cleans without leaving that residue.

Is it safe for Gore-Tex and membranes?

Yes. It is designed to clean garments with membranes such as Gore-Tex and eVent gently and safely, and it is PFC-free.

How much should I use?

About half a capful (25ml) into the detergent drawer in place of normal detergent, then a full cycle at 30C or per the care label. Do not use fabric softener.

Does it re-waterproof my jacket?

It cleans and helps maintain any existing DWR, but it is a wash, not a proofer. For fresh water repellency, follow it with a Grangers reproofing treatment.

How many washes per bottle?

The concentrated 300ml bottle gives up to 12 washes.
