The 5.11 Tactical Hardpoint M2 is a stainless steel carabiner built to clip your kit straight onto your rig. It integrates cleanly with MOLLE webbing, 5.11 HEXGRID arrays and similar load-bearing platforms, so pouches, tools, gloves and dump bags hang exactly where you want them.

With a 121lb (around 55kg) load rating, the M2 handles serious gear-hauling duty. The self-closing spring steel wire gate snaps shut on its own so nothing slips free, while gimped edges give a positive grip in the wet or with gloves on.

How does the M2 attach to my rig?

It is designed to clip directly into MOLLE webbing, 5.11 HEXGRID arrays and similar load-bearing platforms, so you can hang kit securely from a plate carrier, pack or belt without tying anything off.

How much weight can it hold?

The Hardpoint M2 is rated to a 121lb (roughly 55kg) load for general gear-hauling use. It is not, however, a climbing device and must never be used for climbing or any life-safety application.

How is it different from the Mk1?

The M2 is larger and MOLLE and HEXGRID focused with a higher load rating, while the smaller Mk1 is a belt-loop EDC clip that includes a webbing strap and split ring. Choose the M2 for attaching gear to your rig.

Will it stay closed when I am moving?

Yes. The self-closing spring steel wire gate snaps shut automatically and the gimped edges give a secure grip, so your gear stays put even over rough ground.
