Keep your kit dry, whatever the weather

The Highlander Rucksack Cover slips quickly over any 40-50 litre pack or bergen and shields it from rain, mud and spray. Made from hard-wearing 210D polyester with a polyurethane waterproof coating and a 3000mm hydrostatic head, it stands up to heavy, sustained downpours rather than just a passing shower.

Stays put, day or night

An elasticated drawcord draws the cover tight around your load, while a hook attachment point stops it lifting in the wind. A reflective logo adds a welcome margin of visibility on early starts, roadside walks and low-light approaches.

Packs away to nothing

The seamless one-piece cover folds into its own supplied drawcord stuff sack, packing down to around 18 x 8 x 8cm. Tuck it in a lid pocket and it is ready the moment the sky turns.

Built for the field

Ideal for airsoft skirmishers, cadets, hikers and anyone carrying kit outdoors. Choose Olive Green for concealment, Black for everyday use or Orange for high visibility. Explore more tactical and field gear at Platoon Stores.

Frequently asked questions

What size rucksack does this cover fit?

It is designed for packs and bergens between 40 and 50 litres capacity. For other pack sizes Highlander produce covers in a range of capacities.

How waterproof is it?

The 210D polyester has a PU waterproof coating and a 3000mm hydrostatic head, which sheds heavy and prolonged rain to keep your kit dry.

Will it stay on in strong wind?

An elasticated drawcord pulls the cover snug around the pack and a hook attachment point secures it, helping it stay put in windy conditions.

Does it pack away small?

Yes. It folds into the supplied drawcord stuff sack, down to roughly 18 x 8 x 8cm, so it stows easily in a lid pocket until needed.

Which colour should I choose?

Olive Green blends into the field, Black is discreet and general-purpose, and Orange adds high-visibility for safety on roadsides or in poor light.
