The ICS 42W is an electric airsoft AEG rifle built around a clear two-tone body. That construction keeps it VCRA exempt in the UK, which means you can buy it without UKARA membership or a registered defence. It is a straightforward, affordable choice for players taking their first steps into the sport.

Clear body, no UKARA needed

Because the body is clear rather than a realistic black finish, the 42W is not classed as a realistic imitation firearm. You still need to be 18 or over to purchase, but there is no UKARA requirement, making it one of the simplest ways to get shooting.

How it performs

Like other ICS electric guns, the 42W fires standard 6mm airsoft BBs from a rechargeable battery and features an adjustable hop-up so you can tune your range.
