The Firefield Impulse 1×22 is a compact red dot sight built for sports shooters, airsofters and practical marksmen who want speed and reliability without spending a fortune. At true 1x magnification it lets you shoot with both eyes open, so you keep full situational awareness while getting on target in an instant, whether you are running a CQB house or transitioning across a range.

A reticle that does both jobs

The circle-dot reticle combines a bold outer ring with a fine 2 MOA centre dot. The ring draws your eye quickly for close-quarters snap shots, while the crisp centre dot lets you refine your aim for longer, more precise shots. Switchable red and green illumination with five brightness levels each keeps the dot sharp against any background and lighting condition.

Ready for the real world

Housed in a rugged, shockproof body, the Impulse is fogproof and IPX5 weather resistant, so it shrugs off rain and recoil on a typical wet UK day. A single CR2032 cell powers it for up to around 240 hours, and the hand-adjustable turrets offer 120 MOA of windage and elevation in 1 MOA clicks for easy zeroing.

Can I switch between a red and green dot?

Yes. The Impulse offers both red and green illumination, each with five brightness settings, so you can pick the colour and intensity that stands out best against your background, from dark woodland to bright open ground.

Will it fit my airsoft or airgun rail?

It uses a Weaver and Picatinny compatible mount in the popular Aimpoint T1 pattern, so it fits the vast majority of airsoft replicas, air rifles, PCCs and shotguns with a standard rail.

Is the reticle a single dot?

It is a circle-dot design, sometimes called a donut, with a 2 MOA centre dot inside a larger ring. The ring pulls your eye to the middle for fast close-quarters shots while the fine centre dot keeps you accurate at distance.

How weatherproof is it?

It is rated IPX5, so it resists rain and water jets, and it is built shockproof and fogproof. That makes it well suited to a wet British skirmish day, though it is not designed for full submersion.

Does this model have a built-in laser?

No. The FF26028 is a red dot sight only. A separate model in the Impulse range (FF26029) adds an integrated laser, so if you see this one listed with a laser it has been mislabelled.
