High-capacity feeding for your G36

The JG 555 Hi-Cap Magazine is built for JG G36 and MK36 series AEGs, holding around 470 rounds of 6mm BB. That large capacity means fewer reloads during a game, letting you keep laying down fire while others are topping up. It is an ideal spare to keep in a pouch or a straight replacement if your original mag is worn.

Simple wind-up operation

Like all hi-cap magazines it uses a spring-driven feed. Fill it through the top, then turn the thumbwheel on the base to wind the internal spring, which pushes BBs up into the gun as you shoot. A quick top-up wind between fights keeps feeding smooth and consistent.

Light, tough polymer build

The magazine is moulded from ABS polymer, so it is light enough to carry several without weighing down your rig, yet tough enough to survive being dropped in the field. The G36-pattern body drops cleanly into the magazine well for a secure fit.

Wide compatibility

Because it follows the common G36 magazine pattern, it works not only with JG rifles but also with many other G36-style AEGs from brands such as Classic Army, making it a flexible choice if you run more than one platform.

Frequently asked questions

How many BBs does the JG 555 magazine hold?

It is a hi-cap magazine holding roughly 470 rounds of 6mm BB, in line with standard G36 series hi-cap magazines. Capacity can vary slightly with BB brand and size tolerance.

Which guns does it fit?

It is made for JG G36 and MK36 series AEGs, and it is compatible with many other G36-pattern magazines from brands such as Classic Army. Confirm your rifle uses the G36 magazine well before ordering.

How does a hi-cap magazine feed?

A wind-up spring drives the BBs. You fill the magazine, then turn the thumbwheel on the base to tension the spring, which pushes BBs into the gun as you fire.

Is it a hi-cap or a mid-cap?

This is a hi-cap, so it holds a large number of rounds and needs periodic winding. It is ideal if you want fewer reloads during a skirmish rather than realistic mag changes.

Do I need any licence to buy this magazine?

No. A magazine is an accessory, not a firearm, so no UKARA defence is required to purchase it. Stock up on BBs and spares in our airsoft accessories range.
