The Same Idea As The Adult One

A UBACS is designed to be worn under body armour: a soft, breathable t-shirt body where the armour sits, and tough ripstop sleeves where your arms take the punishment. This is that shirt, made for children. The adults and the older kids have had them for years, and it is nice that the smaller ones are not left out.

Built For Actual Use

The body is 220g BTP camo t-shirt material, soft enough to be comfortable all day. The arms are ripstop cotton with reinforced elbows, which is the part that matters, because children crawl and slide and land on their elbows more than any adult does.

The Patches Are The Best Bit

Velcro ID panels on both arms give plenty of room for patches, and in our experience that is the feature children care about most. Collect them, swap them, cover the sleeves. It turns a shirt into something they are actually invested in.

Where It Gets Worn

Airsoft where sites allow younger players, nerf wars, laser tag, cadet activities and dressing up. Quarter zip neck and velcro cuffs let it be adjusted as they grow into it. More in our clothing range.

Frequently asked questions

What is a UBACS?

Under Body Armour Combat Shirt. The body is soft t-shirt material so it is comfortable under armour or a rig, and the sleeves are tough ripstop where your arms take the wear.

What is BTP?

British Terrain Pattern, a camouflage pattern designed for UK conditions. It is the pattern used across much of the Kombat UK range, so it will match other kit from them.

Is it tough enough for real use?

Yes. It has ripstop arms and reinforced elbows specifically because children spend a lot of time on them. It is built like the adult version, not like a costume.

Can they put patches on it?

Yes, there are velcro ID panels on both arms with plenty of room for velcro backed patches. Usually the first thing they ask about.
