Keep your kit dry, whatever the weather

Dry sacks, canoe bags, waterproof stuff sacks: whatever you call them, they are one of the smartest, cheapest ways to protect your gear in the field. The Kombat UK Lightweight Dry Sack in olive green keeps essential clothing and equipment dry and organised inside your day sack or bergen, so a soaked bag never means soaked kit.

Built to shed water

Made from ultra-lightweight, waterproof PVC polyester, this dry sack uses a roll-top sealing system with a buckle fastening. Fold the top over a few times, clip it shut, and water is locked out. The low weight means it earns its place in your pack without weighing you down.

Sized for every job

The range spans from 1L up to 28L, so you can grab a small sack for a phone and wallet or a larger one for a sleeping bag or full change of clothing. The plain olive outer even lets you label contents with a marker pen, handy when you are packing several.

A quick note on sizing

Please note the header card is mislabelled on some units. A barcode sticker with the correct size is added to the outer packaging, so if the card looks wrong, do not panic, the sticker is right. Explore more field gear in our tactical range.

Frequently asked questions

Is this dry sack fully submersible or splash-proof?

The roll-top and buckle system is designed to keep water out from rain, splashes and damp conditions in your pack. Roll the top firmly at least three times before clipping for the best seal. It is built to protect kit rather than for deep diving.

What size should I choose?

The range runs from 1L up to 28L. Smaller sacks suit a phone, wallet, socks or a first-aid kit; larger sacks hold a sleeping bag, spare clothing or a full change of kit.

My bag says a different size to the label, is it wrong?

No. Kombat UK have flagged that the header card is mislabelled on some stock. A barcode sticker with the correct size is added to the outer packaging, so trust the sticker, not the card.

Is it suitable for cadets and DofE?

Yes. It is a popular choice for UK cadet, military and Duke of Edinburgh use thanks to its low weight, olive colour and simple, reliable roll-top seal.

How do I keep it working well?

Rinse off mud and grit, let it air dry fully before storage, and avoid overstuffing so the roll-top can still fold and seal properly.
