What This Part Is

This is a plastic hop-up unit for M4 and M16 series airsoft AEGs, offered from our boneyard as a B-Grade spare. The hop unit clamps around the inner barrel and holds the hop rubber, applying backspin to each BB. It is a key part for range and accuracy and a common item to swap during repairs and builds.

B-Grade Condition Explained

B-Grade means the unit is used, ex-display or salvage. Expect possible cosmetic wear and note that boneyard units may not include all small parts. It is sold as spares or for repair with no warranty, described honestly rather than as pristine.

Who It Is For

This suits airsoft technicians and M4 owners who need a working chamber for a repair or a budget project. It is a low-cost way to get a replica running again or to complete a spares box.

Fitment and Compatibility

M4 hop units vary between manufacturers, so as a generic salvage part we cannot promise a universal fit. Compare against your existing unit, inner barrel and gearbox shell before fitting. Browse more airsoft accessories for hop rubbers and internals.

Need It Fitted?

If you would rather leave it to us, our Kent workshop provides airsoft gun repair and servicing and can fit and test hop units as part of a service.

Frequently asked questions

What is a hop unit?

The hop-up unit, or chamber, holds the hop rubber and applies backspin to the BB for range and accuracy. This is a plastic M4 style unit offered as a B-Grade spare.

What does B-Grade mean?

It means the unit is used, ex-display or salvage stock. It may show cosmetic wear and is sold as spares or for repair, so it suits techs and project builds rather than as a new item.

Will it fit my M4?

It is designed for M4 and M16 series AEGs, but fitment varies between brands. As a salvage part we cannot guarantee a match, so compare against your barrel and gearbox before buying.

Does it include the hop rubber and nub?

Not necessarily. Boneyard units may arrive without the rubber, nub or adjustment parts. Inspect on arrival and budget to add fresh internals for best performance.

Is there any warranty?

No. As a boneyard part it is sold without warranty for repair and project use where the buyer fits and tests it themselves.
