The ForceCore Armament M4 gearbox housing is an alloy Version 2 shell built to fit M4, M16 and AR type airsoft AEG rifles. If you have cracked a shell or you are planning a fresh build, this replacement housing gives you a dependable foundation to work from.

Version 2 compatibility

The Version 2 gearbox is the most widely used format in airsoft, so this shell accepts common V2 internals. That makes sourcing gears, pistons, cylinders and springs straightforward when you specify your own performance setup.

Shell only, your spec your way

This is the housing on its own, not a complete gearbox and not a quick change spring unit. Buying just the shell keeps the cost low and hands you full control over which internals and upgrade parts you install.

Does this gearbox shell come with internals?

No. This is the alloy shell only. It does not include gears, spring, piston, bushings or a quick change spring guide, so you fit your own internals.

Which rifles does it fit?

It is a Version 2 shell designed for M4, M16 and AR type AEG rifles, the most common gearbox format in airsoft.

Will standard V2 parts fit inside?

Yes. As a standard Version 2 housing it is designed to accept common V2 internals, though as with any rebuild some fitting and shimming may be needed.

Is this a beginner friendly part?
