It mounts directly into M-LOK slots. If your handguard is a 20mm RIS or RAS rail you need the rail version rather than this one.

Service was great the grip arrived pretty quickly and looks great just on my part I ordered it for a cqb m4 and it doesn’t if but I just put it on my other m4 and works perfectly
