Engineered for tighter groups

The Maple Leaf Autobot hop up bucking is one of the most respected accuracy upgrades in airsoft. Its distinctive pressure-point geometry grips the BB cleanly and applies backspin in a controlled, repeatable way, producing a flatter and far more predictable trajectory than a standard bucking.

A better air seal

The narrow entrance and integrated C-clip work together to tighten the air seal around the BB. That means less wasted gas or spring energy, more consistent shot-to-shot power and the stability that long-range shooters depend on.

Silicone that lasts

Made from a hard-wearing yet highly elastic silicone compound, the Autobot resists the tearing and deformation that shortens the life of cheaper buckings, so your set-up stays consistent skirmish after skirmish.

Match the hardness to your build

Colour-coded hardness options from 50 to 80 degree let you dial the bucking to your FPS and BB weight, from sub-360 FPS AEG-style set-ups through to high-power VSR and GBB builds. Fitting a hop bucking is fiddly work, so if you would rather leave it to a technician our Kent airsoft repair and servicing team can install and tune it for you.

Frequently asked questions

Which hardness should I pick?

Match the degree to your FPS: 50 degree suits builds up to around 360 FPS, 60 degree 295 to 390 FPS, 70 degree 360 to 460 FPS, 75 degree 425 to 490 FPS, and 80 degree for 490 FPS and up.

Will it fit my VSR-10?

Yes. The Autobot bucking is designed for VSR-10 spring rifles and compatible air-cocking platforms, as well as many gas blowback pistols and rifles.

What does the C-clip do?

The C-clip stiffens the bucking lip to improve the air seal, giving more consistent power output and a more stable hop.

Do I need a hop tensioner or nub?

For best results pair the bucking with a compatible hop arm or tensioner so the pressure point sits correctly on the BB. Set-ups vary, so test and tune after fitting.

Will this improve my accuracy?

The pressure-point geometry and improved seal are designed to lift heavier BBs cleanly for a flatter trajectory and tighter groups, which is why it is popular for sniper and DMR builds.
