Clean power to the motor

These genuine ASG motor connector plugs (part 16805) are the small spade terminals that link your gearbox wiring to the motor. They are made from plated metal chosen for low inner resistance, so more of the battery’s current reaches the motor instead of being wasted at a poor connection.

Why low resistance matters

Any upgrade to an AEG, whether a stronger spring, a better motor or a higher-output battery, puts more demand on the electrical system. Worn, corroded or high-resistance connectors throttle that current and can cause sluggish trigger response and heat. Fitting quality low-resistance plugs keeps the circuit efficient.

Part of a healthy circuit

ASG recommends refreshing the electrical components together when you upgrade, so these plugs pair naturally with new wiring, a fresh trigger switch and a good battery. On their own they are also a cheap fix for tired contacts that are causing intermittent firing.

Fitting help

The plugs push onto the motor tabs and connect to your wiring, which typically means soldering. If you would rather not work on gearbox wiring, our Kent airsoft repair team can fit them, and you can find batteries and wiring in our BBs, gas and batteries range.

What do motor connector plugs do?

They are the spade-style terminals that connect the gearbox wiring to the tabs on the motor. Fresh, low-resistance plugs ensure a clean electrical connection so more current reaches the motor.

Why choose low inner-resistance plugs?

Every connection in an AEG adds a little electrical resistance. ASG's plated plugs are made to keep that resistance low, which helps current flow, supports snappier trigger response and reduces heat build-up at the contacts.

Will these fit my rifle?

They fit the terminals on standard AEG motors, which covers most V2 and V3 electric guns. If you have an unusual or proprietary motor, check the terminal size before ordering.

When should I replace them?

Replace them if the originals are corroded, loose or burnt, and it is good practice to fit fresh connectors whenever you upgrade wiring, the switch or the battery so the whole circuit performs together.

Do I need to solder them?

The plugs push onto the motor tabs, but they connect to your wiring, which usually involves soldering or crimping. If you are not comfortable working on gearbox wiring, our workshop can do it for you.
