Premium all-season canister fuel
MSR IsoPro is a performance blend of isobutane and propane, mixed 80/20, using some of the purest isobutane of any canister fuel. That formulation holds higher internal pressure as temperatures drop and as the canister empties, so you get more consistent output across a wider range of conditions than cheaper butane-heavy blends.
Clean-burning and easy to read
The fuel burns cleanly for zero-maintenance combustion, and a printed float gauge lets you check how much fuel remains by placing the canister in water. That takes the guesswork out of packing for a trip.
Wide stove compatibility
The canister uses a standard threaded Lindal valve, so it fits MSR canister stoves and the many other brands that use screw-thread canister burners. A self-sealing valve means you can safely remove the canister from the stove for transport and storage.
Pick your size
Choose from 113g for fast-and-light overnighters, 227g as the do-everything workhorse for a few days out, or 450g for longer trips and basecamp cooking.
Handle and store safely
This is a pressurised, highly flammable gas canister. Keep it away from heat and naked flames, store it in a cool, well-ventilated place, and keep it out of reach of children.
