Upgrade to XT60 power

Nuprol XT60 connectors are a high-current battery plug set for airsoft AEGs. Swapping tired mini Tamiya plugs for XT60 is one of the most worthwhile electrical upgrades you can make: they carry more current, run cooler and lock together far more securely.

Built for reliable current flow

Each connector uses gold-plated brass pins housed in a hard, fireproof nylon shell. The gold plating keeps resistance low, around 0.8 milliohms internally, so more of your battery’s energy reaches the motor. They handle currents up to roughly 30A, comfortably covering standard and higher-drain builds on both LiPo and NiMH packs.

Easy to fit

The pins accept wire up to 12AWG and take solder readily thanks to the brass coating, making for a clean, strong joint. Once mated, the XT60 clicks positively together and will not shake loose under the vibration and recoil of full-auto fire.

The set includes a matched male and female connector so you can rewire both the battery and gun ends. Pair them with a fresh pack from our batteries and consumables range, or let our Kent workshop handle the soldering.

Is this a matched pair?

Yes. The set includes both the male and female XT60 connector so you can rewire one end on the battery and the matching end on your gun or wiring harness.

Why choose XT60 over Tamiya connectors?

XT60 connectors handle much higher current with far lower resistance than mini Tamiya plugs, so they run cooler, resist melting and give a more efficient power delivery to your motor.

What current can they handle?

The XT60 is rated for up to around 30A continuous, with an internal resistance of just 0.8 milliohms, which comfortably covers most airsoft AEG setups including higher-drain builds.

What size wire fits?

The pins accept wire up to 12AWG, which suits standard airsoft low-resistance wiring. The gold-plated brass takes solder easily for a clean, strong joint.

Do I need to solder them?

Yes, XT60 connectors are soldered onto your battery and gun wiring. If you would rather not solder, our Kent workshop can fit them for you as part of a service.
