The Punchy PEQ Pack
Of the PEQ sized batteries we stock, this is the one with the highest discharge rate. 30C on a 1200mAh pack means it can deliver current faster than the 20C packs, which matters if your AEG has been upgraded and is asking more of the battery than a stock gun would. If you have fitted a stronger spring or a higher torque motor, start here.
Will It Fit?
It measures 19.8 x 31 x 54mm, which is the standard dummy PEQ box format. It also drops into the rear battery compartment on Honey Badger and similar PDW style rifles. Measure your space before ordering: PEQ boxes vary more than you would expect, and a pack that needs forcing is a pack that will get damaged.
Connectors
We stock these in Tamiya and in Deans T-plug where we can. A Deans battery will only work with an AEG already wired for Deans, so check your gun before you choose. If you want to switch a connector over, bring it to our Rochester workshop and we will do it properly rather than have you void the warranty with a soldering iron.
Looking After A LiPo
Charge LiPo packs with a proper balance charger, never a NiMH charger, and never leave one charging unattended. A charging bag and a low voltage alarm are both cheap and both worth having. Do not run a LiPo flat: once a pack is drained below its safe floor it may refuse to take charge again and can damage your AEG. Stop shooting as soon as you notice the rate of fire dropping off. Changing the connector yourself voids the warranty, but we can do it for you at the shop.
