The Charger Your LiPo Needs

If you have bought a LiPo battery, you need a charger built for lithium chemistry. This is that charger. It balance charges, which means it brings the individual cells in the pack up evenly rather than treating the pack as one unit, and that is what keeps a LiPo healthy over its life.

Why It Matters

Charging a LiPo on a NiMH charger is the single most common expensive mistake in airsoft. At best you ruin the pack. At worst you start a fire. A lithium capable balance charger costs a fraction of the batteries it protects, and it is not an optional accessory.

Do I really need a special charger for LiPo?

Yes. Lithium packs must be balance charged by a charger designed for them. A NiMH charger will damage the pack and can start a fire. This is not a precaution you can skip.

What does balance charging mean?

It means the charger monitors and charges each cell in the pack individually rather than the pack as a whole, so no single cell is over or under charged. It is what keeps a LiPo usable for years.

Will it charge Li-Ion as well?

Yes, it supports both lithium polymer and lithium ion packs.

What charge current does it deliver?
