The magazine follower inside your Raven MEU 1911 gas magazine keeps rounds moving. It sits under the BB stack and pushes it upward so each shot feeds cleanly into the feed lip and hop unit. Heavy use eventually takes its toll, and a worn, sticky or cracked follower shows up as misfeeds, weak feeding and last round stoppages just when you need the pistol most.
