A Serious Sidearm At A Sensible Price
The Hi-Capa 5.1 is the pistol people move to when a polymer framed sidearm no longer feels like enough. It is full metal, it weighs around 930g, and it handles like a competition pistol rather than a backup. At just under a hundred pounds that combination is hard to argue with, and it is why the 5.1 has stayed a fixture of UK skirmish fields for years.
Accuracy Out Of The Box
Raven fit a 113mm 6.03mm tightbore inner barrel as standard, which is the sort of thing you normally pay extra for. Combined with an overall length of about 250mm and roughly 328 fps on a 0.20g BB, it will hold a group at ranges most people do not expect from a pistol. A fibre optic front sight gathers what light there is, which matters more than you think in a wooded site in November.
Gas Or CO2, Your Choice
A green gas magazine comes in the box, and Raven CO2 magazines are available separately. That flexibility is the practical argument for the Hi-Capa platform: green gas through the summer, CO2 when the temperature drops and gas guns start going soft. The frame carries a 20mm rail for a torch or laser if you play indoors or after dark.
The 1911 Connection
The Hi-Capa uses the same grip angle and manual safety as the classic 1911 pattern, but adds a double stack magazine and a flared magwell for faster reloads. If you like the way a 1911 sits in the hand but want more rounds and a modern rail, this is the pistol that does both.
Setting It Up
This is a realistic imitation firearm, so you need a valid defence such as UKARA registration and you must be over 18. Keep it fed from our gas and BBs range, and our Kent repair workshop handles servicing and upgrades in house. See how it compares in our best airsoft pistols guide.
