Mk18 firepower, Carbontech weight

The Evolution Recon Viper Mk18 Mod 1 pairs the compact, hard-hitting Mk18 profile with Evolution’s Carbontech technopolymer construction. The result is a rigid, wobble-free rifle that stays light and fast in the hand for both CQB and open-field play.

VIPER electronic trigger

At its heart is the VIPER programmable electronic trigger unit. It delivers instant trigger response, protects the internals with an integrated MOSFET, and lets you configure fire modes including semi, full auto, binary and burst to suit your playstyle.

Reinforced internals

A reinforced Version 2 gearbox runs steel gears on 8mm bearings, driven by a high-torque 22000 RPM motor. A 6.01mm precision tightbore barrel and rotary hop-up deliver tight, repeatable groups, with roughly 315 to 330 FPS on 0.20g BBs.

UKARA required

Yes. This is a black realistic imitation firearm (RIF), so under the VCRA you need a valid defence such as UKARA registration to purchase it. You must also be 18 or over.

What does the VIPER trigger unit do?

The VIPER programmable electronic trigger (MOSFET) gives crisp trigger response and lets you configure fire modes such as semi, full auto, binary and burst, while protecting the internals.

What FPS does it shoot?

It runs at approximately 315 to 330 FPS on 0.20g BBs, around 1 joule, which is site-legal for most UK skirmish fields. Always chronograph before play.

Is the Carbontech body durable?
