Protection And Discretion
A gun slip does two jobs. The obvious one is protecting the gun from knocks, damp and the boot of a car. The less obvious one, and arguably the more important, is keeping it out of sight. A gun in a slip attracts no attention; a gun not in one attracts a great deal, and rightly so.
The Pouch
The integrated pouch is what separates this from a plain sleeve. Cartridges, chokes, a choke key, a cleaning kit or a set of ear defenders travel with the gun rather than rolling loose in the car. Small thing, and you notice it every time you arrive somewhere with everything you need.
Green
Traditional field green, so it does not look out of place leaning against a Land Rover or on a peg. It also hides mud considerably better than a dark colour.
What Is Not Published
Remington do not publish a length or a padding specification for this slip, so we have not listed one. Bring your gun in and we will check it fits, which is a better answer than a number on a page. More in our shooting range.
