Two jackets in one

The Jack Pyke Reversible Waterproof Jacket in green is a clever piece of countryside kit that can be worn either way round, giving you two looks and doubling its usefulness. It is built for stalkers, shooters and outdoor workers who need genuine all-weather protection.

Serious weather protection

At its core is a 3 layer construction with the Breatha-Tex membrane, rated to a minimum of 10,000mm waterproofness and 5,000g/m2 breathability. That means it keeps out driving rain and wind while venting the heat and moisture you generate on the move.

Warm without the bulk

200g/m2 polyester insulation provides reliable warmth through cold, wet days, and the classic fit leaves room to add a mid-layer when temperatures drop. A stormproof front zip and two fleece-lined hand warmer pockets seal in the heat.

Built to move

A 4-way stretch outer fabric flexes with every movement, while elasticated wrist and waist keep draughts out. Subtle branding keeps it low-key in the field. Browse the rest of our outdoor clothing to build a full cold-weather kit.

Frequently asked questions

How waterproof is this jacket?

The Breatha-Tex membrane carries a minimum 10,000mm waterproof rating and a minimum 5,000g/m2 breathability rating, so it keeps sustained rain out while letting moisture and heat escape to stop you overheating.

What does reversible mean in practice?

The jacket can be worn either way round, giving you two different outer faces from a single coat. That is handy for switching between a plain look and a field look, or simply extending the life of the garment.

Is it warm enough for winter?

Yes. With 200g/m2 polyester insulation plus a windproof membrane, it holds warmth well in cold, wet British winters. The classic fit leaves room to add a mid-layer for the coldest days.

Will it restrict movement when shooting or stalking?

No. The outer uses a 4-way stretch fabric that flexes with you, and elasticated cuffs and waist seal in warmth without binding, so mounting a rifle or moving through cover stays comfortable.

Does it have a hood?

This model focuses on a stormproof front zip, fleece-lined hand warmer pockets and elasticated cuffs and waist. Check the product images for the current season's hood configuration before ordering if a hood is essential.
