Pistol and carbine in one kit
The Reximex Morpho is a compact CO2 air pistol that converts into a short carbine using the supplied detachable synthetic shoulder stock. That gives you two guns in one: a handy pistol for close plinking and, with the stock fitted, a steadier, more accurate carbine for target shooting. This is the .22 (5.5mm) calibre version.
Action and magazine
It is a multi-shot repeater fed by a 7-shot rotary magazine in .22, cycled with a smooth side-lever action. A single-shot tray is also included for those who prefer to load one pellet at a time. The trigger is single action with a button safety.
Power and CO2
The Morpho runs on a single 12g CO2 capsule, delivering around 36 shots per capsule in .22 at roughly 350 fps with mid-weight pellets. As an air pistol it sits within the UK sub-6 ft-lb limit and is well under the 12 ft-lb rifle threshold, so it can be owned in England and Wales without a firearms certificate.
Barrel, sights and fittings
A 201mm rifled barrel is fitted with fibre-optic front and rear sights, and the muzzle is 1/2 inch UNF threaded to take the included silencer. Rails let you add optics such as a red dot along with lights or lasers.
What is in the kit
The kit includes the detachable stock, the threaded silencer, magazines and a single-shot tray. It weighs around 900g as a pistol and about 1.3kg with the stock fitted.
