Reinforced where it counts

The body is moulded from nylon fibre reinforced polymer, keeping weight down while resisting flex, and it runs a carbon steel 15 half-tooth rack for dependable pickup in the NGRS gearbox. That combination gives you durability without the cost of a full CNC piston.

Why does it have 15 half teeth?

The half-tooth rack is designed to work with the NGRS gearbox geometry, giving reliable pickup and release in the electric blowback system.

Is a polymer piston strong enough?

This one is nylon fibre reinforced for strength and paired with a carbon steel tooth rack at the critical first-tooth area, which is where most wear occurs. It is a proven, cost-effective replacement.

Do I need any other parts to fit it?

It is a direct replacement piston, but any gearbox strip is technical work. We recommend fitting by an experienced technician and inspecting related parts while the box is open.

Is there an age restriction to buy it?

No. This is an internal spare part, not a weapon, so there is no age or UKARA requirement.
