A smarter hop bucking for AEGs

The Maple Leaf Super Macaron bucking is built to squeeze more accuracy and range out of your AEG hop system. Its signature triangular dimple sits in the centre of the bucking and reaches through the inner-barrel window to make firm, consistent contact with every BB.

Grip where it counts

That precise contact point delivers a cleaner, more repeatable hop than a flat bucking, so BBs leave the barrel with a stable backspin and a flatter trajectory. It is the kind of upgrade you feel the moment you start ranging targets.

A better seal, better performance

The wave pattern moulded into the exterior improves the air seal inside the hop unit. A tighter seal means less wasted air and steadier shot-to-shot power, the foundation of consistent grouping.

Match it to your build

Colour-coded hardness from 50 to 80 degree lets you tune the bucking to your FPS and BB weight, from standard full-auto AEGs through to high-power DMR set-ups. For best results combine it with a Maple Leaf hop tensioner and browse our other airsoft accessories to complete the upgrade.

Frequently asked questions

How do I choose the right hardness?

Use the colour code: green 50 degree for sub-360 FPS full-auto AEGs, yellow 60 degree for 295 to 390 FPS, blue 70 degree for 360 to 460 FPS, pink 75 degree for 425 to 490 FPS DMRs, and black 80 degree for VSR or GBB with AEG hop units up to 490 FPS.

What makes the Macaron shape special?

The triangular dimple in the centre of the bucking interfaces with the inner-barrel window and makes firm, consistent contact with the BB, which improves both hop consistency and accuracy.

Does the exterior design matter?

Yes. The wave pattern on the outside of the bucking improves the air seal inside the hop unit, which translates to steadier power and better performance.

Do I need anything else to get the best from it?

Maple Leaf strongly recommend pairing the bucking with a Maple Leaf hop tensioner or nub so the pressure point loads the dimple correctly.

Is it good for heavier BBs?

The design copes well with heavier BBs, which is why it is popular on DMR and precision AEG builds firing 0.30g and above.
