Match battery to gun

The Tamiya and Deans converters twin pack lets you connect a battery with one connector type to a rifle wired for the other, so you are not stuck when your battery and AEG do not match.

Two adapters supplied

Each pack contains two pre-wired adapter leads covering Tamiya and Deans (T-plug) fittings, so you can mix and match across your battery collection without buying new packs.

No soldering needed

Because the adapters are ready-wired, there is no soldering iron required. Simply plug the adapter inline between your battery and rifle and you are ready to play.

Check polarity first

Airsoft Tamiya polarity can differ from RC standard, so always confirm red to red and black to black before connecting. Browse more batteries, BBs and gas.

Keep a set in your kit

Because they take up almost no space, a spare pair of converters in your kit box means a mismatched connector never keeps a working battery on the bench when you could be back in the game.

Frequently asked questions

What does this twin pack include?

It contains two pre-wired adapter leads covering Tamiya and Deans (T-plug) fittings, so you can match a battery to a differently wired gun without changing either connector.

Do I need to solder anything?

No. The adapters are ready-wired. You simply plug the correct adapter inline between your battery and rifle and you are ready to play.

Why would I need a converter?

If your battery uses one connector and your gun uses the other, a converter lets you use them together rather than buying a new battery or rewiring the gun.

Do adapters affect performance?

Every extra connection adds a little resistance. For stock and lightly upgraded setups this is negligible, but high-drain builds are best standardised on one connector type.

How do I avoid wiring it wrong?

Airsoft Tamiya polarity can differ from RC standard, so always confirm red to red and black to black before connecting the battery.
