Genuine Vorsk VMP-1 hop unit
The hop unit is what turns a gas blowback SMG from a short-range plinker into an accurate skirmish gun. It applies backspin to each BB as it leaves the barrel, and that spin generates lift, extending effective range and flattening the trajectory so your shots reach further and land where you aim. This is the genuine Vorsk replacement, the same hop assembly you will find in your VMP-1, matching Nuprol part reference VSP-13-06.
Why the hop unit is a consumable
The hop rubber inside the unit is a wear item. Over time it hardens, deforms and loses its grip on the BB, and the result is shots that drift, drop early or fly inconsistently. Because of this, the hop unit is a good place to start when your VMP-1’s accuracy tails off, and this assembly includes the rubber for a complete refresh.
System and fitment
The VMP-1 uses a proprietary ball-bearing loaded hop system inherited from the KSC MP9 platform. Aftermarket options for this system are limited, so a genuine Vorsk unit is the dependable route to restoring performance. The hop unit is accessed from the bolt cover on the gun.
