The Vortex Crossfire green dot puts a crisp 2 MOA dot in front of you for rapid, both eyes open shooting. At 1x magnification it excels in close quarters, letting you get on target quickly whether it sits on an AR, a shotgun or a rimfire rifle. The green dot can be easier to pick up against foliage and in bright light than a traditional red dot.

Bright, adaptable and long lasting

Eleven brightness settings let you dial the dot to any lighting, from dim dawn cover to harsh midday sun, and the sight is night vision compatible for low light work. A single CR2032 battery runs for up to 50,000 hours, so you can leave it ready to go for a very long time.

Built to survive

The Crossfire’s aluminium housing is shockproof, and it is sealed and purged to be fully waterproof and fogproof. It shrugs off recoil, weather and knocks, making it a dependable optic for range days, hunting and general field use.

What is the difference between a green dot and a red dot?

The optics are identical apart from dot colour. Many shooters find a green dot stands out more clearly against green foliage and in bright daylight, and it can be easier to see for those with certain forms of colour vision deficiency.

What mounts come with the Crossfire?

It ships with two mounts: a low profile picatinny rail mount and a taller skeletonised lower 1/3 co-witness mount. That lets you set the height to suit iron sights or a comfortable heads up shooting position.

How long does the battery last?

A single CR2032 battery gives up to 50,000 hours of runtime at a mid brightness setting. Turning the brightness down when conditions allow, and switching off after use, extends battery life even further.
