What is the difference between a holographic sight and a red dot?

A holographic sight projects a laser transmission hologram of the reticle in front of the shooter rather than reflecting a dot off a lens. This gives the UH-1 Gen II a detailed EBR-CQB reticle, a wide clear view and no dot bloom, which many shooters find faster and more precise up close.

Is the UH-1 Gen II night vision compatible?

Yes. Alongside 15 daylight brightness levels it has dedicated night vision settings and a quick access NV button, so it works behind a night vision device as well as in bright daylight.

What battery does it use and how long does it last?

It runs on a single CR123A battery, which is included. Vortex rate the runtime at up to around 1,500 hours depending on brightness, and a 14 hour auto shutdown helps preserve the cell.

Does it come with a mount?

Yes. The sight has an integrated quick detach Picatinny and Weaver mount built into the chassis, so it fits standard rails and returns to zero when removed and refitted, with no separate mount to buy.
