Modular mag carriage, sorted

The Viper Tactical VX Buckle Up Mag Rig puts all your reloads on one clean panel, carrying up to three rifle magazines and three pistol magazines. It is part of Viper’s VX Buckle Up system, letting you add serious mag capacity to your rig with a single hook-and-loop mounted panel.

Secure, adjustable retention

Quick-release bungee cords are woven throughout each pocket so you can tune retention to the exact mags you carry. That means a confident, secure hold when you are on the move, and a clean, fast draw when you need a fresh magazine in the fight.

Built from TP700

The rig is made from Viper’s high-quality TP700 fabric, engineered to resist abrasion, tearing and impact. At roughly 28 x 18 x 4cm and around 0.36kg it adds capacity without weighing you down, ready for regular skirmish and milsim abuse.

Part of the VX system

The hook-and-loop backing fixes the rig to VX Buckle Up platforms, working as standard with the Buckle Up Plate Carrier Gen 2 and Utility Chest Rig, and mounting to the outside of the VX Buckle Up Gun Carrier. What does the VX Mag Rig attach to?

It uses hook-and-loop backing to fix onto Viper VX Buckle Up platforms as standard, including the Buckle Up Plate Carrier Gen 2 and the Utility Chest Rig. It can also mount to the outside of the VX Buckle Up Gun Carrier.

How many magazines does it hold?

Do I need a Viper carrier to use it?

It is designed around the VX Buckle Up ecosystem and attaches most cleanly to those platforms via the hook-and-loop backing. If you do not run a VX carrier you can still fix it to any compatible loop panel of the right size.

TP700 is Viper's hard-wearing fabric, engineered to resist abrasion, tearing and impact. It holds up to the knocks of regular skirmishing and milsim use while keeping the rig lightweight at around 0.36kg.
