Genuine WE replacement follower

This is the original WE magazine BB follower for 1911 and MEU gas blowback pistol magazines. If your pistol has started to misfeed, double-feed or fail to push the last few BBs up, a tired follower is one of the most common causes. Fitting a fresh one restores clean, reliable feeding for a fraction of the price of a brand new magazine.

What it fits

Designed for WE single-stack (single-row) 1911 and MEU gas magazines. It is also compatible with Socom Gear 1911 magazines that share the same internal layout. It is not intended for double-stack Hi-Capa magazines, which use a different follower.

Fitting notes

This is an intermediate-level part. The follower sits under spring tension inside the magazine, so it can spring free during removal and refitting. Work over a tray, keep the spring under control, and take your time to avoid damaging the part or the feed lips.

Will this fit my WE 1911 or MEU magazine?

Yes. It is the genuine WE follower for 1911 and MEU single-stack gas magazines, and it also fits Socom Gear 1911 mags. It is not for double-stack Hi-Capa magazines.

Why would I need to replace the follower?

A cracked, worn or seized follower is a common cause of BBs failing to feed or double-feeding. Swapping the follower is far cheaper than buying a new magazine.

Is it hard to fit?

It is an intermediate job. The follower sits under spring tension, so it can ping out during removal or refitting. Work over a tray and take care not to lose the spring.

Can you fit it for me?

Yes. Our in-house Tech-It service can fit it and check your magazine while we are in there. Contact the shop to arrange it.

Does it change the power or velocity of my pistol?

No. It is an internal magazine part that only affects feeding reliability, not muzzle energy.
