Keep your M9 feeding cleanly

When a WE M9 starts double feeding, jamming or spitting BBs out of the magazine, the feed lip is the part to check first. This genuine WE feed lip replaces the polymer top piece on your M9 gas magazine and restores the smooth, dependable feeding that makes the M9 such a popular sidearm.

What it does

The feed lip holds the top BB at precisely the right height and angle for the nozzle to strip it into the hop-up. It is a small part doing a precision job, and since the nozzle contacts it every cycle, even minor cracking or deformation upsets feeding and causes stoppages.

Why it wears

Feed lips are a known consumable. Thousands of loading cycles, relentless nozzle contact and the usual drops and knocks gradually fatigue the polymer. Once it cracks or spreads, no hop or gas tweak will fix the feeding, so a fresh lip is the genuine solution.

Fast, affordable fix

Fitting takes minutes: push out the retaining pin, swap the lip and reassemble. It costs a fraction of a new magazine and keeps your M9 in action. Browse more airsoft accessories and spares, or book our airsoft repair and servicing to have it fitted.

Frequently asked questions

What does the M9 feed lip do?

It is the plastic top piece of the gas magazine that positions and releases the top BB so the pistol nozzle can chamber it correctly. The lip's shape controls feeding, so a worn one leads straight to misfeeds and jams.

How can I tell mine is worn?

Inspect for cracks, chips or a spread, deformed lip. The symptoms are double feeds, BBs dropping out of the top of the mag, or unreliable feeding even when the gas fill and seals are healthy.

Will it fit any M9 magazine?

It is the WE M9 pattern feed lip, made for WE M9 series gas magazines. Feed lips are platform-specific, so an M9 lip will not fit Hi-Capa, 1911, MEU or EU series mags.

Why do these parts fail?

The nozzle strikes the lip on every shot cycle, and the magazine is loaded, dropped and knocked repeatedly over its life. That constant stress eventually cracks or deforms the polymer, making it a recognised wear item.

How do I replace it?

Drift out the retaining pin, lift out the old lip, then fit the new lip and any top seal in the same orientation before refitting the pin. Make sure it seats flush so feeding is consistent.
